Amazon will open the first full-scale Fresh store without the cashier queue

Amazon announced that it will open its first full-size grocery store in Washington State, USA. The new Amazon Fresh store will use the “Just Walk Out” technology, which means that you don’t need to wait in line at the checkout counter to pay and you can immediately take the goods away.

It is reported that the store will open on June 17 in the Factoria Square Shopping Center in Bellevue, Washington, USA. The store also offers Amazon package pickup, return, Alexa Kiosks and Amazon One. Of course, if you want to pay through regular methods, the store also has a cash register.

Currently, Amazon Fresh has opened more than a dozen in the United States, but their scale is very small, you can use your Amazon account information to scan the QR code displayed on the phone screen. The store will then track what you take from the shelf, allowing you to walk directly out of the store and charge your account after you leave. The new store will also allow customers to use Amazon One to scan their palms or insert a credit or debit card linked to their Amazon account to enter the store.
