Tesla Records Highest Ever Sales in China

US Automobile Manufacturer Tesla has recorded the highest ever sales in China in the month of March alone.

According to the Reuters, the company has sold 10,160 vehicles in China, which is the highest ever in the history of Tesla.

According to the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA), Tesla has sold around 30% electric vehicles in China from its $2 Billion Shanghai Factory, which aims to manufacture 150,000 units of Tesla Model 3 Sedan in the country.

According to the CPCA, the US Automobile company has sold around 3,900 units of cars in the month of February and up to 2620 vehicles in January. However, the overall ratio of passenger car sales were down to 40.8% in 2019.

Tesla, Inc. designs, develops, manufactures, leases, and sells electric vehicles, and energy generation and storage systems in the United States, China, Netherlands, Norway, and internationally. The company operates in two segments, Automotive; and Energy Generation and Storage. The Automotive segment offers sedans and sport utility vehicles.
