News on March 1, according to foreign media reports, Google Finance has now added a new column about cryptocurrencies, titled “Crypto”, which appears in the “Compare Markets” category along with traditional stock and currency markets. This section provides key price information for various cryptocurrencies, including BTC, ETH, LTC, and BCH.

 

 

This may be the gradual change of Alphabet’s attitude towards encryption. Its video platform YouTube has previously banned news video content about encryption randomly. The two largest publications in the field of encrypted news have been asked to stop updating, but after YouTube confirmed that they did not violate its terms of service, they withdrew the request.

 

In the past few months, as institutional investors and companies began investing in the cryptocurrency asset class, the cryptocurrency market has attracted mainstream attention. The total market value of cryptocurrencies exceeded $1 trillion in January and reached a peak of $1.7 trillion in February. Both retail investors and institutional interest are growing rapidly.

Hester Peirce, a member of the US Securities and Exchange Commission, said that as large companies such as Tesla and MasterCard actively embrace cryptocurrencies, the market needs more clear regulation.
